Indoor Speakers and Strobes
MadahCom provides a wide range of options for indoor audible and visual devices (supervised and non-supervised).
Supervised Speakers MadahCom’s WAVES (Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System) Supervised Horn Loudspeakers are surface-mounting, high-efficiency units for life safety and communication system applications.
Supervised Horn Loudspeakers are equipped with a compression driver providing up to 15 watts RMS power handling capability, superior intelligibility and dispersion to achieve maximum sound projection and penetration.
When used with compatible control equipment, the loudspeakers provide high-intelligibility voice reproduction and signal transmission for indoor and outdoor emergency alarm and protective signaling.
Supervised Speaker Strobes
WAVES Supervised and Weatherproof Speaker Strobes are designed for maximum performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness while meeting or exceeding the latest requirements of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code), UL Standard 1638 (Standard for Visual Signaling Appliances), and UL Standard 1480 (Standard for Speaker Appliances) for indoor and outdoor applications.
The strobe has a 75 candela intensity on axis at -31oF (-35oC) and 180cd at 77oF (25oC) with low current draws. The speakers are designed for multiple power requirements with high dBA output at each power tap. The low profile model offers a choice of field selectable taps, 1/8W to 8AW for either 25.0 VRMS or 70.0 VRMS audio systems. The low profile design incorporates a high efficiency speaker for maximum output at minimum power across a frequency range of 400 Hz to 4000 Hz and features a sealed back construction for extra protection and improved audibility. The Speaker Strobe can provide synchronized speaker and strobe operation when used in conjunction with a WAVES Individual Building Emergency Communications System (Autonomous Control Unit – ACU).
Supervised Strobes
WAVES Supervised and Weatherproof Strobes are designed for maximum performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness while meeting or exceeding the latest requirements of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code), UL Standard 1638 (Standard for Visual Signaling Appliances) for indoor and outdoor applications.
The strobe produces a flash rate of 30 - 62 flashes per minute over the Regulated Voltage Range of 16 to 33VCD. The strobe has a 75 candela intensity on axis at -31oF (-35oC) to 150oF (66oC). All inputs are polarized for compatibility with standard reverse polarity supervision of circuit wiring by a Fire Alarm Control Panel. When synchronization is required, the strobe is synchronized with speaker operation when used in conjunction with a WAVES Individual Building Emergency Communications System (Autonomous Control Unit – ACU).
Non-supervised Speakers
MadahCom offers a variety of indoor non-supervised speakers.
Indoor Bi-directional Loudspeakers

WAVES Bi-Directional Loudspeakers, designed for indoor use, are an excellent choice for applications where an aesthetically pleasing speaker with great sonic performance is essential. Manufactured from high-grade aluminum extrusion with dual coned drive units, giving both clear speech and excellent background music reproduction, the Bi-directional loudspeakers operated within a nominal frequency response range of 100-20,000 Hz.
Ceiling loudspeakers

WAVES Ceiling Loudspeakers feature unusually smooth frequency response, good low frequencies (40-18,000 Hz) and a post-mounted tweeter that help to enhance the perceived environment in most higher-ceiling commercial applications. Its exclusive terminal block and spade-lug taps allow fast connection as well as wattage selection and/or changes. The speaker is complete with a versatile 8-watt, 70.7/25-volt transformer.
