Portable Alerting

Cooper Notification's TACWAVES (Tactical Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System) is a portable emergency control mass notification solution that is ideal for tactical operation, forward unit deployments, disaster management and other temporary needs. It is designed to alert, warn and inform people of what to do before, during and after an emergency. TACWAVES features low and high power mobile speaker systems that broadcast safety sirens, live and recorded voice messages as well as send visual alerts via secure wireless networks.

TACWAVES and Mobile Speaker Towers require minimal operator set-up and can be rapidly deployed before, during and after an attack or disaster. Both can operate as stand-alone alerting systems or be integrated together into one system as well as with a permanent WAVES system. TACWAVES and Mobile Speaker Towers can be moved with any military or civilian vehicle and airlifted by UH-60s.

Command and Control

TACWAVES provides the user a sophisticated command and control (C2) augmentation capability with an easy-to-use GIS-based Graphical User Interface (GUI), enabling force protection or emergency personnel to rapidly alert their people of imminent danger and efficiently control their response before, during and after a terror attack or other man-made or natural disaster.

Its PC-controllable wireless network, highly adaptable to virtually any type or size facility or geographic area, has the capability to integrate with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and other designated C2 systems for improved system management and situation awareness. It can also be integrated with sensor and detection systems, including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) systems, intrusion detection, access control, and fire alarms. In addition, WAVES can communicate with CAP (Common Alerting Protocol), an XML-based data format for exchanging public warnings and emergencies between alerting technologies.

Secure and Survivable
TACWAVES is:

Designed to be survivable and operate successfully in severe electronic countermeasure environments.
Offers a variety of communications capabilities, both wired and wireless to deliver the necessary voice and data information. MadahCom’s ‘flagship’ communication network is based on its digital Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology with superb anti-jamming capabilities and high immunity to interference, eavesdropping and spoofing. This frequency has been approved for use on military and government facilities (Frequency Allocation JF12 #7787). Other communication solutions include UHF, VHF, POTS, and Ethernet.
Utilizes UPS (uninterrupted power supply) that provides back-up power in the event of a grid power loss. Solar panels and back-up generators are also available.

Remote Activation

Emergency personnel can remotely access the TACWAVES base station and activate critical mass notification functions via telephone (including cellular) or a networked computer, as well as wired/or wireless activators.
