With Cooper Notification's secure MNS and Personnel Alerting System (PAS) solutions, the military can both deter and respond to emerging threats more effectively. It is the actual warning and instructions to personnel in the effected areas that is critical in saving lives, mitigating casualties and minimizing chaos.

• Command and Control (C2). WAVES provides the user a sophisticated, but easy-to-use C2 augmentation capability, enabling force protection professionals to rapidly alert personnel of imminent danger and efficiently control personnel response before, during and after a terror attack or other man-made or natural catastrophic event.
• Regional Control Capability.  WAVES can integrate multiple sites into a broader regional or theater-wide control system.
• Indoor and Outdoor Alerting.  WAVES offers both indoor (Individual Building MNS) and outdoor alerting, (Giant Voice and Wide-Area MNS) as well as Base-Wide MNS. 
• Portable Field Units. TACWAVES, containing low and high power mobile speaker systems, offer portable field notification units for tactical operation, forward unit deployments, and other temporary events. 
• Integration Capability. WAVES has the capability to integrate with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and other designated C2 systems for improved system management and situation awareness.  It can also be integrated with sensor and detection systems, including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) systems, intrusion detection, access control, and fire alarms. In addition, WAVES can communicate with CAP (Common Alerting Protocol), an XML-based data format for exchanging public warnings and emergencies between alerting technologies.
• Secure/Robust Communications. WAVES offers a variety of communications capabilities, both wired and wireless to deliver the necessary voice and data information. MadahCom’s ‘flagship’ communication network is based on its digital Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology with superb anti-jamming capabilities and high immunity to interference, eavesdropping and spoofing.  This frequency has been approved for use on military and government facilities (Frequency Allocation JF12 #7787).   Other communication solutions include UHF, VHF, POTS, and Ethernet.
• Remote Activation. Users can remotely access the WAVES base station and activate critical mass notification functions via telephone (including cellular) or a networked computer, as well as local wired/or wireless activators. 
• Flexibility.  WAVES is modular and scalable using open system architecture design that facilitates the ability to easily expand systems in phases.
• Optimization.  WAVES provides local customization capability for each individual site with different Anti-terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) needs.
• Mature and Certified.  WAVES is compliant with UFC, ADA, FEMA and NFPA standards and codes.
